CASE STUDY: ALEX
“I signed up hoping the course would give me useful insights in how to move jobs during the Covid-19 pandemic. It was starting to feel impossible to switch jobs during the pandemic, as my sector’s job market had been like a ghost town.
This course completely changed how I look for jobs. Over the eight weeks I felt my perspective shift from “I’ll take whatever I can get” to “What kind of role do I want, and at what kind of company?”
It also made me think differently about creating a role for myself, instead of waiting for the right job to become available.

I enjoyed the breakout rooms and the intensive parts of the coaching, as it pushed me outside my comfort zone. Also getting to interact with people on completely different career paths was a really interesting way to work.
By the end of the course, I felt more confident and well prepared regarding interviewing and contacting possible employers. I’m now applying for jobs in a more informed and thoughtful way, which has been getting me far more replies from employers.
Ros has switched my perspective upside down on how I carry out a job search. Simply put, it works; I had my first online interview by the end of the course.”
