The Career Coach was founded in 2002 by Master Certified Coach Ros Toynbee, and our courses and programmes are delivered by our team of experienced and accredited coaches.

We work with professionals and leaders who want to build careers that fulfil them intellectually, financially and emotionally, while making a difference in their chosen field. Ros Toynbee is founder and director of The Career Coach, one of the UK’s most established career management organisations, and brings 24+ years’ experience support leaders to do great work and build high performing teams, and leaders and subject matter experts to grow brilliant careers.

She is trained in a number of coaching approaches including Coach U, Newfield, NLP, Solutions Based Coaching, Dr Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder Based Coaching, Fireworks. She’s L3 accredited in the use of Skills Discovery tool and is a qualified teams and systems coach.

She’s a former Association for Coaching’s Co-Coaching/Supervision Facilitator for East Sussex and has been the coaching supervisor for Henley Business School’s career coaching service. She is based in London.

Rosine brings over 15 years’ experience in global management consulting, where she held director-level roles and managed strategic alliances with leading technology companies. This background gives her a deep understanding of the pressure and complexity of fast-paced, international environments — and the career questions that often emerge within them.

With over seven years’ experience as a professional executive coach, her mission is to help individuals grow and define a career that truly fits who they are, grounded in their values, strengths and skills, while building the confidence to speak up and quiet their inner critic.

Rosine is an ICF-accredited PCC coach, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and a Positive Intelligence® practitioner, trained in the Fireworks™ career change process. She works in a supportive, non-judgmental way, gently challenging clients to think bigger and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Tim Fordham

Tim Fordham

Associate Coach

 

Tim is an ILM level 7 qualified and highly experienced coach and leadership mentor. His aim is to help individuals to be their best and find fulfilment in all that they choose to do in life and work.

Using a creative and flexible approach, Tim ensures people think about issues from different perspectives. He uses a variety of tools and techniques, including those drawn from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

Tim is calm and empathetic, encouraging clients to use their skills and make informed career decisions. He specialises in the health, social care, not-for-profit and public sector and also works with corporate clients.

He has coached at CEO and senior executive level and has with senior teams. During 8 years as a professional coach and mentor he has built up 2000+ hours’ experience.

Tamaan is an internationally certified coach with over 14 years’ experience supporting professionals to navigate career, leadership and confidence challenges. As a former leader and consultant, she combines strategic insight with deep empathy, helping clients gain clarity, strengthen self-trust and move forward with confidence.

Tamaan previously held senior roles across the employability, skills and social care sectors, including leadership and management within a national youth homelessness charity.

Clients describe Tamaan’s coaching style as insightful, steady and empowering. She is known for helping clients build confidence, manage self-doubt and take clear, practical steps to increase their visibility, communicate more effectively and navigate career decisions with greater certainty.

Tamaan brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She holds the CPCC credential and works with clients across the UK and internationally.

Rachel has been writing CVs professionally since 2008 and understands the importance of making a powerful first impression. 

With a collaborative approach, she has worked with individuals from across a broad range of sectors and industries at all career stages, from recent graduates to board-level professionals.

Rachel is also experienced in supporting those returning to the workplace, changing career paths, facing redundancy or at other career crossroads.
