The Career Coach was founded in 2002 by Master Certified Coach Ros Toynbee, and our courses and programmes are delivered by our team of experienced and accredited coaches.
We work with professionals and leaders who want to build careers that fulfil them intellectually, financially and emotionally, while making a difference in their chosen field. Just a few areas we specialise in are law, financial services, marketing and comms, IT, pharma, the arts, charities and government.

Rosine Suire
Associate Coach
Rosine brings 15 years’ experience in management global consulting where she held director levels and managed the strategic alliance with one of the top tech companies, so she understands the pressure of working in a fast-paced, international environment.
Her mission is to empower individuals to define the right career for them based on their values, strengths, skills and by developing their confidence to speak up, while taming their negative inner chatter.
She is an ACC accredited coach with ICF and Fireworks™ career change process.
She works in a non-judgmental and fun environment where she challenges her clients to think big and act big so they can realise their true potential.
Tim Fordham
Associate Coach
Tim is an ILM level 7 qualified and highly experienced coach and leadership mentor. His aim is to help individuals to be their best and find fulfilment in all that they choose to do in life and work.
Using a creative and flexible approach, Tim ensures people think about issues from different perspectives. He uses a variety of tools and techniques, including those drawn from Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
Tim is calm and empathetic, encouraging clients to use their skills and make informed career decisions. He specialises in the health, social care, not-for-profit and public sector and also works with corporate clients.
He has coached at CEO and senior executive level and has with senior teams. During 8 years as a professional coach and mentor he has built up 2000+ hours’ experience.
Karen Perkins
Associate Coach
A career coach for over 12 years, Karen offers insights from 20 years of senior management and HR experience, having recruited individuals, set up new teams, and commissioned services in the public, private and third sector.
She assists with all aspects of the job search process, demystifying online job search, whilst helping you develop a great ‘social’ presence that appeals to employers.
She will help you navigate all stages of the interview process and offers practice for office based, hybrid or remote working roles and helps you build confidence & uncover transferable skills to locate, secure and then move successfully into your chosen role.
Karen holds an ILM Level 5 Coaching & Mentoring Diploma and is a Member of The Association for Coaching.
Jon Palmstrom
Associate Coach
Jon is a certified career & leadership coach with over 15 years’ experience in the financial services and technology space where he was a senior recruiter and internal coach, most recently at JP Morgan.
Jon has spoken with 1000’s of people about their careers and hired hundreds for market leading organisations and understands the complexities of the recruiting process and what really goes on behind the scenes.
Jon is passionate about coaching people so they can be confident through their career journey and have a tangible plan to make a positive change.
Jon is an ACC accredited coach with the ICF, has a Practitioner diploma from the Academy of Executive Coaching and is certified in Systemic Team Coaching. Jon has a positive, supportive, and creative approach to coaching and offers you the space to focus on your career success.
Rachel Vincent
CV Writer
Rachel has been writing CVs professionally since 2008 and understands the importance of making a powerful first impression.
With a collaborative approach, she has worked with individuals from across a broad range of sectors and industries at all career stages, from recent graduates to board-level professionals. Rachel is also experienced in supporting those returning to the workplace, changing career paths, facing redundancy or at other career crossroads.
Her focus is on creating persuasive and tailored CVs and supporting content that positively differentiate individuals, effectively showcasing technical skills, demonstrating impact and evidencing outcomes delivered.
